Mission/ Reason to exist in market:
ASTICON can offer guidance in these Business scenarios:
1)      You have a Supply Chain Strategy and want to define a supporting Supply Chain IT Strategy for your Business.
2)      Or – You have your SC IT Strategy in place and want to select, e.g. an MES platform to build on.
3)      Or – You have your MES-platform in place and want to define factory projects (roll-out)
4)      Or- You have your MES-platform rolled out and working and want to assess or upgrade the currently running solution.
“Supply Chain IT” is here defined broadly as IT-systems in the areas of:  Manufacturing-IT, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Operations technology (often used by the acronym IT/OT), and even the Supply Chain related part of your Business-IT System, such as Quality and Plant Maintenance.
ASTICON Delivery examples, high level:
(See further details in tabular form in detail section)

Definition of IT-strategy: Based on workshops with your Supply Chain organization, a short, clear Strategy document is created. This will show how e.g. an IIoT solution can support your strategy. Included is also initial, Total-Cost-of-Ownership calculation for the IT-solution, which shall be part of your Business Case in deciding to progress with implementation.
System and supplier Selection process: Based on the Supply Chain’s business requirements, a short and clear requirement list is created. System selection process is carried out with a strong focus on  a) Delivering on requirements, b) Total IT-costs: Pilot-project + roll-out + operating/upgrade costs in the years after.
Supplier Contract Negotiation: In close cooperation with your own Procurement and Legal staff, the delivery is the describe the exact scope of delivery. A supplier contract must address all cost elements. Very often the long term costs of upgrading and extending e.g. MES-solutions get out of control.
Examples of other deliveries:
- Technical Project Management.
- Advisory on ERP, MES & Automation platforms. Specific focus on System Interfaces.
- Risk and Business Continuity Assessments
- Interim IT manager roles, including People manager role
